Each individual tax consult starts with an in-person meeting at our offices. Relax with your choice of a cup of tea or a complimentary cocktail (or signature mocktail!) and 30 minutes of our undivided attention. We’ll review your situation and assess your needs. The Brass Tacks treatment continues with detail-oriented preparation of your current and/or back tax return(s), and ends with helpful hints on how to prepare and organize for the year ahead.

Cat Lady Tax Package

Overwhelmed by the pile of receipts overtaking your underwear drawer? Still paying off that new kitty palace you replaced your couch with? Avoiding your coffee-stained check register? Oh wait, you don’t even have a check register? No shame, no guilt. The Cat Lady Tax Package is for the minimally organized client, the lover with too many cats and not enough time, the fighter with a heart of gold and a back tax bill from the mouth of hell. This is a full-service package: we’ll take that shopping bag full of papers and turn it into crisply filed peace of mind. For you, Cat Lady, we’re a little bit accountant, a little bit personal assistant, and a whole lot of love. Recommended for independent contractors/sole proprietors/schedule C filers, LLC owners, and anyone else who needs a little extra TLC.

Type A Tax Package

So you’ve had your W-2 since January 1, you created several spreadsheets to manage your personal cash flow, your receipts are alphabetized and date-stamped. May we suggest the Type A Tax Package? (Also, would you like a job with Brass Tacks?) Bring us your paperwork and we’ll make the most of it to find you all the deductions you should be taking. You’re done and it’s not even February yet!
